diffuser pipes, seawater intakes, keel coolers, propellers and shafts,
grates and slides, etc. This is normally done manually with various
hand tools adapted to the situation.

Cleaning of beaver deposited debris in a 3ft
underwater culvert in Greene County, North
Carolina. Work consisted of going in the
pipe, grabbing an arm full and resurfacing about
900 times. The whole time worrying about a
rearward attack from a beaver.
